Elijah Wolfson is a writer, editor, and multimedia journalist currently based out of Oakland/San Francisco, CA. He is a Deputy Editor of health and science at Quartz. He is also a contributor to The Atlantic, Al Jazeera America, Vice and the Huffington Post, and has appeared on BBC World News. He is a former Senior Editor at Newsweek, and was the Editorial Director of Medical Daily from 2013-2016.

Elijah was a 2013 – 2014 Langeloth Health Journalism Fellows at the John Jay College Center on Media, Crime, and Justice; a 2015 International Reporting Program Fellow; and a 2015 Metcalf Institute Fellow. He is a member of the NASW, AHCJ, and SEJ.
